Last week I blogged about a dreadful situation I was facing - one of our high school students was arrested and taken to juvenile detention for making threats at school, allegedly. It seemed utterly hopeless, as she was being charged with a felony offense and was facing expulsion from school.

It has been a long week for us in this ministry setting. But, our God is Big, our God is Wise, and our God is Loving!

Just yesterday, between Sunday school and worship service, the older sister of this student gave me a message from the student, "tell Tara I am continuoing to pray every day and am reading my Bible." This kid is still seeking answers from God, even in the midst of what seems like a hopeless situation! Praise and honor go to Him in all things! For He can work in all things!

Please lift up this student and her family in prayer this week.
